drink absinthe

It tastes so bad! Take a quick swig, but be prepared to spit it out.

Not impressed.

I think this stuff available in the U.S. is a sham.

Tasted like bad liquor to me. No psychedelic effects whatsoever.

I’ve been living in the Czech Republic for the last year and the thing I always have my friends do when they get here is take a proper shot of absinthe (with the sugar and the flames.) Be careful though…it’ll knock you on your ass. One of my best mates here in Prague wound up on the other side of the river from his flat, with two missing teeth and 2000 missing kc the night he did one shot of absinthe too many.

Anyway, there are three different colours I had had the yellow one. People I know they’ve tried it say that the green one is better. And most peligrous LOLOLOL

I’m going to Rome over Xmas….I think they have it there! I’m definately going to try it out, so if there are any particular brands (I don’t know if there even are “brands” of absinthe) that I could find in Rome, please let me know!! Thanks in advance!

Now that the ban has been lifted in the US it’s a little less fun than it would have been when it was FORBIDDEN… but it was cool. The ritual of it was fun and I like the flavor, the first two I didn’t add enough water and it BURNED! But then I got the hang out it, the louching and what not and it was yummy. Very low key and relaxing. Mmmmm.

Since becoming legal (hell, even before it was), I’ve always wanted to try absinthe, as does my man. Pretty self-explanatory.

it burned the whole way down. i didn’t “hallucinate” or see unicorns or anything like that, i just felt insanely drunk. fun though!

I want to try it. At least once.
Not so much because I’m a big fan of alcohol and drugs, etc.
But I don’t mind them in moderation either.
Mostly, just because ever since hearing of it’s potentcy in the art culture I’ve wanted to expierience it, just once.

I’ve had the legal stuff many times. I’d like to try the stuff that makes you see blue faeries
