regalfarms is Blogging and Writing
This is my second step in creating possibly a full time income from home. I would like to write a few eBooks I have web experience and I am pretty good at writing so I hope this venue will really help.
How I did it: I did some research on how to write an e-book, picked a subject matter that I liked to write about, then set to it.
Friends of mine did some free proofreading for me, and I used a 30-day trial version of Adobe InDesign to create the layout.
When I was done, I put the put online, and decided to publish it totally free. If you'd like to see what I did, please visit getonabudget.com. Download it totally, absolutely free!

browar I WILL change!
It would be my first little business, first step to big money maybe? Worth trying in my opinion

When it comes to the topic of making money online and other online businesses, two things most frequently come to mind: sell stuff on ebay, or write and sell your own ebook.
Writing the ebook and marketing it are two completely different things… A warning to those who want to do this and are actually planning on pushing through with the idea: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE see to it until the end! Don’t put 150% into writing the outline and the first 5-10 pages, then lose interest and forget all about it.. I’ve fallen victim to this many times and it doesn’t exactly feel good!
BUT! I’ve managed to see through my first official ebook project from beginning to end. And just being able to say “ya, I wrote something with great content and worth reading by other people” is priceless. So if you believe in your topic, then don’t let anything or anybody stop you from writing that ebook!
If this is something you want to do strictly for profit, then here’s a golden tip: before you waste any of your precious time slaving away behind your keyboard, TEST THE DEMAND! There are many ways you can do this, but my preferred method is to 1.) write up a detailed table of contents, 2.) write a short salesletter for it, and 3.) test it. See how many people would be willing to buy it based on what you’re offering. As Tim Ferriss of 4-hour work week says, you can’t rely on people’s answers when you ask them “will you buy this?” the real test is to actually ask them to buy it right then and there.
BTW my ebook on copywriting for ebay is available here http://www.rckstr.com or just click on my profile.. and now I’m really learning the business of ebook selling.
I started collecting eBooks the summer of 2006. Now I have more than I can count. I’ve got fiction, how-to’s, game cheats, you name it.
I’d like to start making my own eBooks and selling them too. I made a little eBook just to get an idea of how to put an eBook together.
It’s about something I’ve been doing since 1994; making coffeehouse drinks. In case you’re interested, you can download it here:

I also just finished an eBook about creating “Live” eBooks. It’s free too. You can download it here:

Now that I have the idea, I want to create some great eBooks. Anyone have ideas on subject matter?
Although I’ve written many ebooks in the past, this one is extra special to me. It’s a huge resource for webmasters who have lost their traffic and don’t know why…
The research gathering and then compiling it into something that made sense to everyday folks (and not just geeks) has been grueling – but I do know it will all be worth it in the end.
Today I set up my blog to start selling it, which was a feat in itself making sure it looked inviting.
I’m stuck.
I know I shouldn’t be surfing around 43things. I should be finishing my ebook, but I just needed a distraction. It’s tough working from home sometimes, alone.
I really want to write an ebook, I’ve been working for months, I have already a report in an articles website, you can check at http://www.articler.com and tell me what you think.
The first ebook was just to get the taste how it is. Now I have big plans for something much better.
Looking for some help please. I have written the book… now how do I turn it into an ‘ebook’. My magic wand is in the wash and it’s the genie’s week off.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Liz
