stop reading fan fiction

I read every day. It’s almost a compulsive thing. The problem is…I’m reading fanfiction. I can’t even tell people about the good stories I’ve seen because it’s embarrassing. Half my time is spent holed away reading this junk and I’m mortified to admit it to anyone I associate with. Which means I keep on neglecting anything except the basic duties of life because I’m trapped in a fantasy world and have no one to help me out. :(

I haven’t stopped reading because of annoying authors like this one http://fleshflutter.livejournal.com/ . I wish she was a talentless hack like the others. I have cut way down though. That’s a plus.

Most fanfiction is shit and yet I still read it. I need to stop.
