At first I wanted to be a Parisian… but a friend of mine who has lived close and visited often has described Parisians as down right mean, with no exceptions. Even to other french people. She said I would hate it…. and as much as I love the idea of those cobblestones and pigeons and cafes, I believe her and don’t really want to live somewhere being hated by snobs. So I stretched my brain and thought of other cities that I really want to live in… and Geneva and Sydney are both spectacular alternatives. Perhaps even cheaper? Still there’s the matter of what I’m going to do there…
