I almost didn’t graduate high school, and now I’m getting all A’s and B’s in college. Spring semester my semester grade was 3.6- the best I have ever done! It made my total GPA high enough to make the Dean’s List. It was an awesome feeling, and I want to do that again and again and again.
How to raise my GPA to 3.5 or higher
How I did it: I studied, read, and wrote a lot. On an average I studied 4 hours a day after school. I used to have a 3.7, but I overall managed a 3.6 :(
Because I took AP and honors classes, I had to give up many extracurricular I wanted to try like XC, Track, LAX. Instead I prioritized my volunteer work and other extracurricular.
Resources: My friends (tell me I study too much)
My family

At this point, it is looking quite difficult. BUT—I feel like I could have done this if I weren’t so involved in other things… not that I regret being involved. I suppose I just need to achieve a balance. I can’t be all schoolwork, or I wont be well-rounded in life and community.
Fall semester 05, 3.5 gpa! I got “a”s in english & history, and “b”s in speech & astronomy. not too shabby, right?
i am smarter than the 2.4 i am getting, i know it, i am just too interested in other things than schoolwork to do it sometimes. it’s usually fun at the time but in the long run i am screwing myself over!
