I did a front hand spring… I’m not sure if I am happier that I did it or annoyed because I haven’t done the back yet. I’m just going to take it as a step in the right direction.

It’s always been one of those thing that I really want to be able to say I can do. I’m taking gymnastics as a PE at school right now. We’re working on front hand springs and dive rolls right now, so hopefully will get there soon!
I did it in cheering for years, I took gymnastics to learn it, but I had a strange fear of it. I was always afraid I would fall and crack my head open, or something. But my for was really great. The last time I did it, was on someones tramp, when I was 24. Now that I’m a mother, I want to show my daughter, her mom can do this. I’ve had the training, I just need the confidence and some practice.
back when I was like 10.
I’m 17 now. Overweight. Not flexible at all.
I’m working on the overweight part. One of my goals is to lose 40 pounds. I’m getting there. Ever. So. Slowly.
I’m going to start stretching tonight. My goal is to be able to just do a backbend by the end of tonight. I don’t have to kick my legs over or anything. I just want to be able to hold up my own weight and have my back be flexible enough to bend that way again.
