    Again. 7 months ago

Connector didn’t work and the computer’s fried so I’ll also have to buy a new computer. Bah.

Bought the connector. We’ll see if it works once it arrives. Hopefully I didn’t just flush 6 bucks down the drain.

I’ve bought it. It’s arrived. But the thing doesn’t have the right connector so before I can try it out and see if it’s worth two dimes I’ll have to buy a connector. I should buy one for a mouse I got a while back too.

I lost nmajor geek points this nmorning when I spilled an entire bigass nmug of hot coffee on nmy conmputer keyboard. After gibving it a bath and putting it out in the sun to dry, the only issue seenms to be a few extra letters (m conmes out nm, v conmes out bv) but for now I can go back and edit as needed until I get a new keyboard.

Testing testing one two three. ABCDEFGHIJKLNMNOPQRSTUBVWXYZ. Yep. Just those two.

Fronm this post on I’ll be editing the glitch…

    But 1 year ago

here’s a good question: what do I do with the old one? Throw it away?

I mean it just seems so wasteful. I ought perhaps to have enquired about seeing if I could get it fixed, only I expected that the cost would have been prohibitive (and not covered by warranty) as seems to be generally the case these days. Ok that is what I should have done.

is not good for a [computer] keyboard.

Built in sequencer or really sweet synth? 2 years ago

All my synths were stolen in an armed robbery a couple months ago. I have just made a little extra money to start buying them back (a tip for you all out there- INSURE YOUR SHIT).

So I am trying to make the decision- to buy a cheaper synth with a sequencer (Alesis Micron (strange coincidence with Ominouspeach?)) or to go for a more expensive and larger keyboard the super sweet Nord Lead. I am leaning towards the Nord Lead, which is going for $495 in a store near me. But it’s $200 more than I want to spend right now….ugh, what to do.
