*My Task* (E. L. Ashford) 19 months ago

To love someone more dearly ev’ry day

To help a wand’ring child to find his way

To ponder o’er a noble tho’t and pray

And smile when evening falls

And smile when evening falls

This is my task

To follow truth as blind men long for light

To do my best from dawn of day till night

To keep my heart fit for His holy sight

And answer when He calls

And answer when He calls

This is my task

Fear just leads to too many things that causes conflicts. get over them, or else you will be wrapped up in pain that will cause you to think that you must lie, not be honest, and betray.

Not the same as giving up lying. 3 years ago

Honor is totally subjective, IMO. What is honorable to one is just common sense to another, and reprehensible to a third. If one lives with one’s personal sense of honor, that is enough.

Being true to oneself, to what is believed, is what is truly honorable. The rest will fall into place on its own if that first is done.

I can say that everything I do I will not regret and I am not harming anyone.

Living with honor, or honorably is to be reverent, respectful, honest, and have integrity. I’ve been looking for similar goals to see how other people have worded this goal on 43Things.com. Here are a few I found.

Living with honor is choosing to honor others and live by righteous principles.

Honor = “Principled uprightness of character; personal integrity.”

Honor may be considered an old-fahioned principle; but it summarizes the ideals of living a good life with honesty, integrity, and respect.
