Michael Kelso imagine peace
On The Road and The Dharma Bums, but now I’m working on Desolation Angels.
Kerouac, I think, is my favorite author of all time.
I’m gonna work from this list.

I also read Satori in Paris, which I found to be funny. I also read Vanity of Dulouz, which I liked but I did think the beginning was a bit slow.
I just read The Subterraneans. I really enjoyed this novel, it was centered around one relationsip, kind of like Tristessa.
I just finished Big Sur. I really liked this one and it details an ending, however sad, for Kerouac. I think this is an important book to understanding the whole Kerouac and the beat culture.
I just finished Dharma Bums. It wasn’t really what I expected but it was pretty good.
So far I have read On the Road and Lonesome Traveller and Tristessa. I know I have a lot more to go but I plan to get a few more read over winter break. Any suggestions of which ones to read next would be great.
