I have a great idea for a show. It’s a bit of Greys Anatomy, mixed with Brothers and Sisters, mixed with Time Of Your Life, and a bit of something else. I’ve developed my characters, I have plenty of ideas for storyline, heck I even have the opening voiceover. I just have one problem. I have no idea how to write a pilot episode. Once I have the pilot done, i’ll be off, but I don’t know how to get started. I’ve searched the net, and I cant find any useful pages.
Any advise would be much appreciated.

Finally finished the final draft of the pilot for my TV Series. I had already been in talks with a producer about the project who showed deep interest but pointed out some areas for improvement, he thens ent me on my way to make the changes and better mold the idea and now I am finally done. I got an email form the producer and he is out of town until July 7th then I will be meeting with him again!

I’m not a big fan of reality TV shows. I don’t understand how anyone could watch “Big Brother” for example, but here in Australia it keeps on getting made, so there must be an audience.
I loved writing stories as a child, and I’m returning to all the things I love to do, one by one. I’d love to write a T.V show, and see it on TV. I’d love to create something that would provide work for so many people, (cast and crew, and the caterers, and well, you get the picture.)

For a television program which starts off with a guy letting his friend stay in his caravan. I’m thinking it’s going to be like Twin Peaks with a bit of Reeves & Mortimer. I keep getting little ideas for short pieces but little coherent sense of an overall story arc or plot. But then, who needs one?
