There are 404 parks in Seattle, ranging from at least 30 that are below the 0.01-acre (436 square feet) cut-off below which they won’t list area, to Discovery Park at 535 acres. Many are familiar, most are at least in a familiar location (I’m sure in part I have Street Scrambles to thank for that!), but some are on streets I don’t recall ever seeing, in person or on a map. I suppose this shouldn’t surprise me – I’ve only lived here for 5 years – but it really does. 4 years ago
