find lost friends

I want find one friend in particular, and have already started to take some steps towards this… but now have doubts after reading some of the experiances above… what if he doesn’t want to be contacted? :s I guess I’ll never know unless I try though… more than trying to re-establish the friendship, I want him to know what a big impact he has had on my life… I have my fingers and toes crossed in the hopes things won’t be too weird if we get back in touch…

WHERE ARE YOU?!?

Well I can finally cross Adrian Riley Jones off the list and I have 43things to thank for that. Though not as pleasant as others in the past..nor much of a reunion…still it was especially rewarding for someone very important to him. And I have that to be thankful for…well that and knowing that he is alive and better than well.

forgot I found Royal a bit ago on myspace of course.

I found my bestest friend Christopher Joseph Anderson…and I found this website memorial for my amazing friend Mikah Thomas Newkirk-Huges where I found a post from Cyrus…but I’m not sure how tacky is it if I try to reach Cyrus from the site.

There’s a funny situation that can sometimes occur when you locate an old friend. I’ve found that nine out of ten times, the feeling of friendship has been dissolved and they act rather cold towards your advances when you try to reinstate the friendship.

It’s only human nature and people change substantially over the years so be aware: Your lost friend may not wish to be friends again, at least, not right away.

...lost friends :( Everyday the thoughts of my closest friend when I was growing up has haunted my thoughts and occupied my mind.. I want to find him and resume our friendship. We lost contact when he went overseas in 2000-1 and I am so afraid that something happened to him over there and that he is never coming back.
I am sure he has no idea just how much he influenced me and the impact he has had. He was the truest friend that I have had the pleasure of having, and it feels that I have a hole in my inner self that can not be filled until I know what has happened to him (good or bad) and hopefully get back in contact with him.
If anyone has any ideas that could help me find him, I will be forever grateful and in your debt.
His name is Joshua Chambers, he will be 24 on August 5th. He has a twin brother Jeremy and an older brother Jonathon. He lived in Cedar Rapids with his mother and brothers and visited his dad often (whose name was larry.) I think he went to Washington High school, but that was so long ago that I can not remember for sure, he lived on Grand/8th ave area.

I would love to get in contact with his brothers also.. for they were there during the years that I needed them…
Any suggestions however small, please comment and tell me!
