Friday was a challenge to be active because I was going to do happy hour with my girls. And we all know that once you drink, it gets a lot easier to say yes to the chili fries and no to the exercise, lol. So I took a preemptive strike and walked 2 miles at lunch. It was a great way to break up my day, I may start walking at lunch every friday. And today I’m doing a cycling class before the Cowboy game, Go Cowboys! 3 years ago

It was a horrible day at work. Our company is doing great yet the corporate meeting today left me with dread. I think a second round of layoffs is coming and they will not be promoting me as promised. That means more work with little pay for another year. It left me so annoyed and restless. I’m going to force myself to use my remaining energy to do some yoga and calm my mind. 3 years ago

So I was sore but loose today (from the yoga yesterday) so I felt like running or walking. Since I was sans ipod, I opted out of the treadmill and did a 3 mile walk home from the office. I was tired but invigorated when I got home. I’m also doing a fresh food lifestyle this year and I discovered a really good snack bell pepper slices with lemon and salt. Healthy & delicious! Sure, I sound like a cheesy commercial, but it’s true! They were yummy! 3 years ago

So…. my body felt really tight because of the cycling yesterday and I decided that I rather do some yoga today to flex my muscles. I got the Jenny McCarthy shape Up program for christmas and I did the 30 minute yoga routine, Whoa!!! It was a real workout!!! I feel a bit loose but sore! haha. I’m really starting this today 1/4/2010. But I must do something active every day, no matter what!!!! I’m excited I did a cycling class today. And I’m determined to do 365 days of movement starting today! 3 years ago
