I’m doing this next week as I’m super worried about one of my moles. :(
How to show the moles I worry about to a doctor

How I did it: It took me 2 weeks to get an appointment with a dermatologist in my home town, I went today and had it done.
I was nervous because you have to strip for mole mapping, but he was very professional and let me keep my underwear on, just checking the moles underneath by peeling back that one bit.
I took my boyfriend with me as he needed some moles checked too, which made me feel a little less embarassed. After, I felt like I could get on with my life again, and stop worrying about moles!

Go asap - it helps you relax and means anything sinister will be caught early.

The sutures are off and moles were fine!

No cancer, just irritated tissue. The sutures were finally removed today and I’m done with this goal now.
Went to the doctor yesterday

I went to the doctor yesterday and got two of my moles removed. One of them as a bit multicoloured the other looked completely normal. Both were sent to the lab and the results should come back in couple of weeks.
One of the moles didn’t even take stitches, the other, much larger, took 3. I’ll get the stiches out just in time fo my birthday. :)
Got an appointment

Got a doctor’s appointment for removing (if needed) the moles. It’s in late January 2006, but still! I’m happy I have it.
I’m planning to show them to a nurse when I next have a day off and then get a doctor’s appointment if needed.
Don't put it off!

It was so easy! If you’re concerned about the appearance, most likely your doctor will agree and want to remove it. The removal is very simple, I had it done in the morning before going to work one day. Often, even if it is something to be concerned about, it will all be removed with the mole, if you do it soon enough.
