I will keep drawing pictures of anatomical body parts like the muscles and the bones, and for pleasure, not for pursuit, I will learn more about the human body – but it is NOT one of the top goals I have. This is not as important as my A Level or my finances and money. I will do this if I have the time. This is not important, but when I study A Level Biology, I will focus on it with the eye of an eagle, and anything I learn between now and then is just a bonus.

It’s a silly thing to add in, since it has very little to do with Anatomy as a subject. Because I studied anatomy, and in particular, have been looking at the details of the Thorax and the Phalanx bone structes, I was reading the first chapter of The French Lieutenant’s Woman, and recognised an anatomical reference – the Thorax. What an odd thing to put in a book that people read, who are not acquainted with those terms on an every day basis?!

I was up late last night, and I got out my clinical anantomy book, and my strength training anatomy drawering, and drew a remarkably good picture of a flexing bicep (without a man, lol)
I drew the bones of the hand, and I can tolerably recognise the bones of the thumb, and the wrist bones, but I have not the ability of being able to draw the hand from memory. I wonder if I could do that?
The reason I’d like to do this is because I love the word “falange” though it it spelled phalange/phalanx when I write it out… I wonder if it is because of Friends that I love this word!

When I am finished studying English Literature and Language A Level, I’ll go on to study A Level Biology, and I’ll also be doing a course in Latin. After I have successfullly completed Biology, I’ll look into doing Chemistry. I think I would eventually like to study Medicine at University, and with three A grades, I do not see why I could not pick or choose the University I want to go to.

I lazily read the beginning of a book I have, and I understand some of the basic terms which I didn’t know before. Thorax. It’s several hundred pages, and very well drawn. It’s a little dry, but what else would it be if it were a medical book?
When I have finished studying my English Literature and Language A Level, I’d like to do a Human Biology A Level, but this is only for pleasure and to help my memory grow. I refuse to stifle myself, and as long as there are libraries and books to be had, I’m going to make the best of them.

Apparently, this drawing class I signed up for is requiring that I study anatomy in order to draw a human being. Yay!
