Oxford in the nearish future. Without stowing away, or using fake identification, I’m going to need a new passport. Something tells me 20+ year old passport with its regrettable haircut just won’t do.

...I got the forms sent off! I am so terrible with forms, I swear. But yes, it should be with me in 2 or 3 weeks – then I can go on holiday, yay! =)
(Pity they’re so damn expensive, mind.)
EvaAvenue is in France
I finally got the passport taken care of too. It helps to ask your mom for the fee money. :)

I received my shiny new passport in the mail today. The picture isn’t even that bad. All I have to do now is sign it, fill in my contact information, and leave this damn country.

So, apparently I do need a guarantor. And apparently there isn’t a single person in this country who I’ve known for two years. I’m trying to get in touch with some of my parents’ friends, but no one is picking up the phone.
Great. I was really hoping to do this tomorrow. This is what I get for skimming through the online application, I guess.

I’ve needed to do this for about 2 years – I can’t change my address at the bank or go abroad, for goodness sake Tamsin, get your act together! I suppose my only excuse would be that it’s expensive.
But still… =P
Do you know how hard it is to not have a passport? Your dream of traveling will be afloat. Your wanting to explore new places would just be mere imagination.
Actually, it is easy to get a passport. It’s only in the Philippines where Filipinos are required to pass unnecessary documents. I just cannot understand the point of asking a divorced person who already got married to present a document which is impossible to produce. For example: When divorced, the only document that is needed to present is the divorce decree. So, it was only the divorce decree given to me. I haven’t gone to the US. I did not pursue my application before. So, it’s impossible for me to produce such document. My ex and I never spoke to each other ever since. We don’t have any communication. I also have no plans of really talking to him. Though, I’ve tried texting him. He replied, but it is pretty obvious that he’s not gonna help me with this one. Anyway, I’m not really sure how this works but, God help me. I do pray and hope that by next week. I’ll have a new passport and will be able to give myself another step forward on what to do next.

I have to go in and collect the forms at the post office. So, have to get my ass into gear and sort out what i need to take to the interview. I heard that you can choose to have it for 10 years. I think that is a good idea… I just hope i don’t loose it or get it stolen ;P
