    This happened, hurrah! Although, it could’ve been much more epic had a few factors not been there, not taken place:

    1) Stupid, stupid rednecks drinking Miller High Life that started moshing. Yes, MOSHING!
    2) Red Bull and their firehose spraying people off. Was this a wet t-shirt contest or Sonic Youth? I’m not quite sure.

    Other than that, they sounded insanely tight and excellent after all these years. I highly recommend it!

    I’ve seen Sonic Youth a few times. It was a goal in 2002, and I’ve seen them in every even year since, with the exception of 2008. Apparently, Sonic Youth decided to hide out in Europe.

    not even kidding, the first show was the central park summer stage in 1992, with the sun ra arkestra, and when I lived in NY I saw them play as individuals a bunch of times at places like the knitting factory and the cooler.
