meet underoath

I went to Warped Tour again on 7/21/09. I wasn’t going to start crying if I didn’t get to meet Underoath this time either. Not surprisingly, the dudes didn’t have a signing that time either. Again, I got some pretty close photos of them onstage. But their crowd was something else. I kept being squished against the front fence. It was annoying and uncomfortable. People were going insane. But it was okay because I still met Saosin. They were so very sweet! My twin and I took pictures with them and got stuff signed. While that’s all good and well, I didn’t really get to talk that much with them. But I did talk to Cove about his dreads for all of about 30 seconds. Then I left a message on Underoath’s SayNow line, asking them why they never seemed to do signings in MA. And I was lucky enough to get a response from Chris, explaining that they don’t do signings every day. He was sorry that I was let down again and said that maybe they can do one next time they come around. I hope so. I’ll just have to keep trying…

Okay, so I went to Mayhem Fest like two weeks ago on 8/5. I was so excited because Underoath WAS SUPPOSED TO BE SIGNING AT THE HOT TOPIC TENT EVERY GODDAMNED DAY. BUT FUCKING DISTURBED TOOK THEIR SIGNING INSTEAD. And you can’t even fathom how I felt at that point. I saw two girls who I know from online and one of them talks to Chris on Stickam so she got on the guest list with some of her friends because of Chris. I told Chris about how disappointed I was and that I had come twice before already to try to meet them, but failed. He was nice and said he would try to get me and my twin backstage too, but security wouldn’t let us. But the girls who were on the list got to go. I was so sad. I was close enough to the stage to take good pictures of James mostly, but that still wasn’t enough. I’m going to see them again in October w/ Saosin. And if I can’t meet Underoath, I hope I can at the very fucking least meet Saosin. It sucks when you try so hard to do something that is important to you, but you fail every time. It makes me want to die.

I think they are amazing men. They’re ordinary men, amazing to me. I must meet them so that I can tell them how much I appreciate and admire thier work and what they do. I also need to tell James how much I love him. I love that man. I do.

they are amazing people! My boyfriend went to high school with Spencer so we even got to go on the tour bus at Warped Tour!

im seeing them in a week with taking back sunday and armor for sleep. im gonna ask chris dudley what his favorite movie is.

i met all of them except tim and james. i wanted to meet tim most but whatever. they are all really really nice dudes and super down to earth. they were somewhat shy though, and spencer really is the smallest person ever. quite the opposite for chris hes definatly one of the biggest people you will EVER see.

spencer is rude. but maybe he was just having a bad day. i’d also like to meet tim and james. but aaron,grant, and chris are really nice.
