When I found out the Great and Good Wiki didn’t have an article on Miss Red-ye-pova, I had to add this to my to-do list. Surprising that they didn’t — considering she’s been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize (twice), performed more than 8000 concerts in 30 countries, fostered 47 children, created more than 500 works, and is probably one of the few people on Earth who shares direct Jewish, Christian, and Muslim roots.
I know this because now Wikipedia knows this.
Not that I could do everything. I know some, but I don’t have time to find the proper references to validate that her and husband Stev-o Teo-whats-his-name got crowned King and Queen Gypsy in India in 19-seventy-someodd. None of those have articles, either. Seems that for every article that gets written two more need to be wrote. A clever, clever scheme, Wikimasters…
Incidentally, if you know anything about twentieth century Roma singer-songstresses whose name’s rhyme with Hed-ye-over, well, Hed-ye-ova.
