meet my grandparents

I met both of my grandmothers and one of my grandfathers. My other grandfather passed away when my father was young. One of my grandmothers passed away a few years ago and I’d like to see my two living grandparents again soon.

My father lived in Russia till he was 17. He came over to the US by himself to live with some cousins. Since he’s never been too involved in my life, we never went over to Russia to meet family. It seems strange to me that I have people so closely related to me, people who really have given me 50% of my DNA, who I don’t know at all.
