How I did it: well... i got two of my best friends to run with me.... well they got me to run with them.... and i got two people to run with me... and now everyones got running partners around my town
Lessons & tips: dont overdo it, do what you can, and let your partner do what they can.... and easy day is sometimes harder than a hard day

I live in pittsburgh and have just started running. I run alone and find it a bit monotonous even with the ipod and stuff. so a running partner to egg me on would be good. any takers???
I live in Buffalo and am a newer runner… I run a couple times a week and would like to find someone to run with occasionally.
I’m pretty slow (about 12:00 pace) but am training for my second half marathon and am hoping to pick up the pace a bit.
in fact, i’ve had a few great partners. But sigh it seems these relationships never last the distance (get it…”last the distance”...we’re talking about running…oh just forget it). and now my belly’s getting blobby again and i had a dream last night that i had all these rolls. AAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH.
Have kinda found a running partner- although he’s failed to go on a run with me so far. Last wednesday he said he bust his ankle and now because of conflicting schedules we aren’t off at the same time until Saturday evening when I guess I’ll be too tired to be running because of mad work hours.
Some new staff should be starting this week which could see a reduction in my hours, dropping me below 50 and freeing up some running time!
I’m not running enough. Managed to complete the Great North Run in 2005 with very little training, but know I could do a lot better if I actually bothered to go out and train, and I know I’d do a lot better if I had a running partner to make sure I actually got my arse out of bed to run!
I am looking for a running partner around cambridge or Boston (M or F) to train with me for races and marathons. I run at medium pace and I am athletic, fit and fun guy. Live in Harvard Square.
