I have been to France perhaps about 9 or 10 times, but have never visited Paris. That’s a low-down dirty shame, is what it is, and must be remedied. Ideally, I’d like to rent a sports car and drive around, with my wife, with the warm wind in our hair.

How I did it: Luckily, as a business trip - so I was able to spend a full week over there... and it wasn't out of pocket- the best way to travel. :) Flew over on L'Avion out of Newark Intnl - very recommended. Very inexpensive tickets and all seats are business class. Be sure to examine their offerings if you are planning a trip. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I had taken French for three years. On my fourth year, my teacher decided to offer a spring trip to Paris over spring break. We went as a group, so the cost was cheaper. We paid for the trip in monthly installments. I only spent money on food and a few gifts in Paris, and I did most of my gift shopping on the Left Bank, near the university, where things are somewhat cheaper. We bought museum pas… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Well, my mother, sister and I stayed in London for 1 week (which I actually preferred) and then took the Eurostar train to Paris. We chose to go a few days after school got out for the summer. It was our first time in Europe, and all I can say is to go more on instinct. DO NOT plan every waking moment of your trip! That is what the tour guides will suggest, but take time to wander around and get to know the city on your own. Read how I did it…

How I did it: I've been to Paris twice, the first with my school and the second with my family. Did all the usual sight seeing things; the eiffel tower, the louvre, notredame, the sacre coeur, the champs elysees, disney land (yay), catacombs etc. It was amazing and lovely and warm! How I did it: This was my third time to Paris, but I hadn't been there for several years and this time I visited Paris with my boyfriend. The thing with trips is that you have to save money for it. Not just for the hotel and the flight but also for you stay upon arrival. You really have to decide if you think the trip is worth the money and when you have figured out that one, you can start saving especially for your trip. When you have your money sav… Read how I did it…

I want to visit as many places as possible and see as many clear faces that I can. I want to visit a place where every site is romantic and beautiful, some place where I can drift away and dream up everything wonderful.

I’ll be honest. I hated Paris. The crime, the people, the dirtiness, the weather, the food, the hotel I stayed in, boring attraction. But the Eiffel Tower when it sparkles is beautiful and im grateful for the opportunity to have seen it and travelled to the top. Paris’ one redeeming feature!!
I booked a fairly cheap hotel just outside the main city of Paris. We are going for New Year’s. Probably will be the most special time ever. Have a lot of plans and one very special idea. It’s quite romantic. But she should be the first to know.
