Just finished “Needful Things.” Not bad, but I am getting a little tired of King blowing up/burning down towns and/or homes at the end of his books. It’s starting to get a little old (Carrie?, ‘Salem’s Lot?, The Shining?, Firestarter?, Roadwork?, It?, The Tommyknockers? I could go on). Enough already. I’d prefer a little more originality.

finished dark tower 4 and just about done 4 weeks ago

with Just After Sunset . Sunset was good but some of his earlier collections were better I thought. Next up is probably The Shining.

“The Tommyknockers” was just AWFUL, but I thoroughly enjoyed “The Dark Half.” I skipped “The Stand” which was technically next, because I’ve read it three times already. I am now on story three in “Four Past Midnight.” The first two were very good, and I’m looking forward to the rest.

This is my list of all the Stephen King books I’ve read to date:

    Carrie
    Rose Madder
    Delores Claibourne
    Gerald’s Game

Which leaves me…many, many to go. I’m working my way through Dreamcatcher right now… This goal could take a while to finish.

Book 2 of The Dark Tower was better than book 1. My husband tells me it’s book 3 that grabs you.

LOVED The Eyes of the Dragon.

Struggling to make it through The Tommyknockers, though. It’s laboriously slow.
