I have been diagnosed with IBS, and in the past four weeks it’s been horrible!
Pretty much anything I eat makes me ill! So I’ve cut out/down on; wheat, dairy and tomato sauces (ie, no spag bol, no pizza, no lasagna!) but so far with no real improvement. It’s got to the point where I’m almost scared to eat in case I’m ill. It gets much worse with anxiety, making me almost a prisoner in my own home as I quite often need to be near a toilet!
This was a kind of rant, I’ll write something more constructive when I feel better.

Talk about the strangest syndrome – seems if the doctors can’t find what’s wrong with you they label you as having IBS, tell you to change your diet and learn to manage it then shun you out the door (not before charging the many $$ of course)
Having been ‘diagnosed’ as having IBS a few months ago I’m learning to control it better through diet and exercise – but need help on learning to control anxieties and stress levels which just blow it up – any ideas anyone?
