Now we just have to get another curtain rod so we can hang ‘em! Eventually, I may add curtains back to my 43T list because I may decide to embroider some characters on squares and applique them to the curtains, but for now these are to be considered DONE!

Finished sewing perimeter, turned them and did the holes for the rod pockets, and reinforced them.
Now I just need to close the holes I used to turn them right side out, and stitch across both panels for the rod pockets.

On lunch break, I rounded corner number 4! Yay!
Tonight I hope to get them both turned, and close up the holes, and then start creating the rod pockets.

I rounded corner number 3 this morning, and hope to work on them tonight (and on my lunch), so it’s definitely within the realm of possibilities that I’ll have it done this weekend. Or sooner!

I worked on this exclusively this morning, and got quite a bit done on one panel. Will work on it a bit more today, too. If I didn’t have rehearsal tonight, I could probably get done with the sewing around the perimeter.
Soon I can start accomplishing goals left and right because I’ll get almost 2 whole evenings back per week once our show is over!

I am about to round corner number 2 on the second panel, but I am concerned that the two panels may not end up the same size, and that means I’ll have to redo one of the seams on the larger panel so they match. It’ll take more time, but I’d rather have it done right!
I hesitate to do too much on them withouth holding them up to his window, too, at this point. I may do a bit more at lunch, or I might just plug away at the project linus blankie.

I am done going around the perimeter of one, and have cut and started the second one. Then I can turn them and do the finishing touches. I haven’t gotten too far on the second panel, but it won’t be long now… especially if I work on them every day until they are finished.

So, instead of letting technology stand in my way—I did what I should have done ages ago and just worked on his curtains by hand.
I’m almost done with one- just have to round the corner, and turn it, sew up the hole, and make and reinforce the two holes for the rod to go through, then I sew across for the rod pocket.
This goal is about 30% done.
jannab achieving many goals at the same time! :P
I want to make the new curtains and pillows of my room, I want them to match :D wish me luck, I will start next week.
