kick this cold

Just a little residual cough and runny nose. But only a few times a day now. I feel great and I’m going to head back to the gym on Monday. Maybe even get on the treadmill tomorrow.

Thank goodness.

Where on earth did all this junk come from? Like my head is a never-ending river of mucus. Okay, I know that was gross and I probably should not have shared it all with you. But what the heck?

how much sleep will it take? I’m trying to work from home, but my brain is sloshing a bit too much to make any sense. I’m only taking mucinex today though. Let;s see if I get a little clearer.

swimming in cold medications. I tried, I really tried. I sat through an important meeting, but I just couldn’t focus. Too distracted by the post nasal drip and the clogged ears and well, the world was just too darn fuzzy.

I decided to call it a day at 12:30 and stopped at Mom’s on the way home for some homemade soup. Ah, that felt nice.

Now I am home, back in bed. SNIFF. This sucks.

OMG, I could barely get out of bed this morning. The cough is just about gone, but now my head is ready to explode. And I am so damn tired and a little sore. It’s kind of turned into a flu light or something. I am frackin miserable

It started over the weekend. I was nursing hubby from his cold, refusing to touch him. I think I made the mistake of not giving myself a new towel in the bathroom. Or maybe he just frickin coughed or sneezed on me.

I thought it was a bad asthma attack. I had this uncontrollable cough. It started out small, but then got bigger and bigger. I didn’t feel any post nasal drip. So I was really concerned I had lost control over my asthma.

Fortunately, today, the post nasal came with a vengeance. Oh lord I am suffering. This constant trickle down the back of my throat, a runny nose, but not a stuffed up nose.

I went to the pharmacy and asked the pharmacist what to do. These strange symptoms, without a stuffy nose, really boggled the lady, especially when I noted I take Allegra every day.

Apparently, antihistamines are supposed to stop runny noses. So when she recommended Claratin, I told her I take Allegra. She was like, “Really?”

So I am drinking a lot, hot and cold, taking cough suppressant and benadryl at night (because it makes me sleepy).

But I need to be over this by the weekend.

Oh, this sucks. SNIFF.
