start a wordpress blog

My long-ignored poshlost.net domain now hosts a Wordpress blog. It turns out that Wordpress is ridiculously easy when your hosting service offers automatic installation of it.

I still need to do a lot of work on the layout. And oh, yeah, I guess I should write some stuff also.

I don’t know why I persist in thinking that if I find the right tool, I’ll magically regain my interest in writing online. (Or perhaps the question should be: why do I view regaining my interest in writing online as a good thing? If I find it hard to care about putting myself out there anymore, why force it? Why not be satisfied with quick little 43 Things entries that are read by maybe five people, max?)

Over the past few months I’ve created both a super-seekrit (okay, not so much) LiveJournal and a Vox account, and at this point I could not care less about either of them. But I would like to do something new with poshlost.net, and I would like to know more about using content management systems.
