Well, I have graduated from undergrad and ended up with a 3.6 GPA for the semester… not a 4.0. Maybe this is attainable in law school? Everyone seems to tell me no, but when do I ever listen to people? :P
How to have a 4.0 semester
How I did it: It was my very first semester in high school. Looking back, my classes really weren't that much easier than those I have taken since. Sure, it would take more effort now that I'm a junior preparing for four AP exams (English Language, Chemistry, U.S. Government, and Comparative Politics if you're interested.) But my worst gpa of high school (a 3.5 unweighted and a 3.7 weighted) was the next semester which was-if anything-easier than the first. The key, for me, was to start strong. I did homework right when it was assigned and looked over it carefully until I turned it in. I kept an organized assignment book, crossed things off when I finished them, and kept them in a folder to turn in. I paid attention in class. I kept that up through finals, and came out on top. Unfortunately, that was my only totally successful semester. I severely regret my later performance now that I'm looking at colleges.

I have one semester left of undergrad, and I am really determined to make a 4.0. I only have 3 real classes and 2 independent studies. I figure with the time I have out of class I should be able to devote more time to study. We’ll see how it goes!
This was probably my worst semester yet, and that’s saying alot. I printed out my college transcript today and it was pretty bad. Riddled with so many “W”s and low grades, I feel so embarrassed with my academic career considering how smart I supposedly am (at least that’s what everyone else says). Every new term I tell myself that I’m going to turn over a new leaf and work as hard as I can; channeling my OCD symptoms into a something positive. Coming up in the spring semester I’m at the very least taking Pre-Calc and Chemistry; both classes that I’ve taken before but withdrew from. Hopefully I can buckle-down and avoid this from happening again. But that’s what I say every new semester…
I’m only taking 5 college classes XD I’m sure I’ll manage
If I have my adderall, I should be fine studying and such.
I know I can do it, I’m just so lazy. I must do it, not only for myself, but to spite others and rub it in their faces.
It’s about half-way through the semester, and I’m doing pretty well so far in all of my classes except 2. Statistics and Economics are pretty tough right now. I know I can get an A in these classes, but I just need to work work work. I especially need to do well now because my finals in Statistics, Economics, and Calculus are all on the same day. I’m definitely going to get on top of these and make sure I’m working hard! Let’s go, it’s time to work it!
this is going well so far. i have an “A” on every assignment/test i’ve gotten back so far.
i thought that to have a 4.0 semester i would concentrate really hard on my schoolwork and not go out very much. turns out i drank more than any other semester. being studious will drive you to drink, friends!
but seriously, i’m super proud of myself because i did work pretty hard even though it was my last semester and i only had 12 credits of electives. a 4.0 is a 4.0, don’t judge me or my drinking habits.
