Hello ,
in a few years i will go to live in Brazil, I love this country
How to live in Brazil
How I did it: Actually I allowed it to happen. Things presented and evolved by themselves. At first I resisted, didnt want to leave Europe, than I let it go and here I am.
Lessons & tips: Maybe you are meant to be here indeed, gotta find out by yourself, meditation helps. Too many people are moving to Brazil now. Come before doors close!

I love Brasil! I always had a fascination with it growing up but all I had ever heard of (like most of us) was Rio. I was given the chance to go to Brasil with my best friend, Rodrigo. We stayed with his family in the Northeast state Ceara in their largest city, Fortaleza (where they live in a tiny but welcoming apartment).
I barely spoke portuguese and they barely spoke english but it was love. The dance, the food, the music, the scenary and relationships all broke past our language barrier. I love the language and am trying to learn it.
I plan on going back next summer to stay for a month with Rodrigos family to decide if I’m brave enough to stay for a year or longer.
I recommned that everyone visit Brasil. It is truly a magical place. I dream of it daily as I sway in my hammock that Rod’s pai made for me!!! Brasil is truly apart of me now!!!

There are two places I dream about: Rio de Janeiro & Alaska.
I fell in love with the Portuguese language as a child, and fell HARD for Brazilian music as a high school student. A mother of a dear Brazilian friend of mine introduced me to the culture and the music my sophomore year of high school. After that, I purchased every ‘foder’s brazil’ and ‘best places’ book I could get my hands on, just anticipating the day that I move there. I’ve come to the realization that acutally moving there probably won’t happen until my kids move out (I’m not even married yet, so yes, I’m thinking wayyy ahead.)
I’ve learned about a lot of english language opportunities that involve spending a year in countries like brazil, korea, et cetera. I would love to do that. Or maybe be a nanny?
But using those trails, I’ll still need a degree.
I’ll stick it on the list anyways.

Well, I live in Brazil, therefore, I can say that I love living here. I believe that most of the world has an extremely limited and not realistic about my country I live in the fifth largest country in the world, which has the fifth largest population of the planet.
We are the richest Latin American country, according to Goldman Sachs, will be the third of the world economy by 2050. We are a country that has more social advances in the world since 2001, and today we have an HDI of 0815, considered high by the UN.
Our country is a continent that stretches from beautiful tropical beaches, nebulae mountains, lakes, equatorial forests, huge rivers, up mountains and cold blizzards. We have big cities, rich and modern, offering all there is to know who best to take advantage of them.
We have the only economy in the world is not suffering from the financial crisis. We have people from more than 175 different ethnic groups living in peace in our territory. Contrary to what most foreigners think, Brazil is not the most violent country in Latin America and according to the UN is no more violent than the U.S..
For all that I believe that many people make the wrong idea of Brazil. But those who live or have lived here knows that few places in the world are better!
Brazil has always seemed like a magical place to me. I dont know why I feel at tie to this country but I know something wonderful and special is waiting for me there.

So I am trying to find a way of working in Brasil. I’m a US Citizen, speak fluent English, Spanish and Portuguese, have a degree in Business with a concentration in information systems. And I still can’t seem to find a company to sponsor me. Any suggestions?

“I have been to Rio de Janiero twice, and am dying to go a 3rd. Only this time for a year or more. But I don't have the financial means to save for that long. Is there any jobs for americans there that could sustain me atleast partially?”
