I asked my wife 18 months ago

She said I helped. The most important person to help feel beautiful and worthwhile. Next is to make sure my daughters feel the same.

Looking closely 3 years ago

If we just learn to look closely, and take time to find out the goodness in others…then we appreciate their worth-and we see how they are beautiful-just the way they are.

When I met a friend, he was down, his girlfriend had just broken up with him [I hadn’t known at the time] but he was so thankful that he met me that I saved his life. Time went on and we became really close, never anything more than friends but I showed him the value of true friendship. Lately, we’ve been talking a lot more and I have convinced him that he truely is a beautiful person and he doesn’t deserve the horrible things he goes through. It’s really worth it to look at someone and know that you’ve helped them in some way.

my little brother 3 years ago

We’re so similar we often bump heads. But yesterday, we had this break through moment where the light came through a little bit and he realized just how precious he is to me, and to all of us.

It was a good day.

Why not? 3 years ago

Each and every one of is beautiful in our own unique way and everyone should be aware of that!

I have pondered whether or not to take this off my list 4 years ago

Is that my job? to do the convincing? Isn’t that something that should come from within? i can inspire change in others, but do I want to make it my job to actually convince them? Is that healthy? Thoughts from the peanut gallery on this?
