make time for art

I have a really boring job, and having a creative outlet would be a way to improve my life. I used to think overly-artsy people were wasting time, but now I realize that real life just isn’t fun. So now I say escape to aesthetics, or to literature, or to music. It’s way better than real life.

Some ‘art’ opportunities for me- scrapbook in progress, possibly starting a stamp club, creating my fashion lookbook, and writing.

I do alot of art at school and at home.

I’ve been doing more art at work making posters for programs. It’s not exactly what I’d like to be doing, but it’s still working on my skills and using my creativity. That counts for something.

I drew a picture of my car and my fiance’s car for an anniversary gift. He is really into cars. I was surprised how long it took me to get back into the swing of drawing. I hadn’t permanently lost my drawing skills, but it took a lot longer time to find them than I would have thought.
