adopt two cats

When I was out for the evening the other night I forgot to put back the cats’ dry food (which I had removed to make sure they eat their medicine).

Well, when I returned I found out, they let me know exactly what they thought about that… Their food bowls were carried across the floor, things had been thrown down the counter, boxes had been opened and emptied…

Okay, I got the message ;)

was cats, all the day.

First the vet (I’ve written more in my other goal). They were unhappy with me about that!
Then to the first store to buy supplies for them. Then to the second store for more plus food.
I removed their favourite littler box, so I could exchange it with one that can be cleaned easier. They were unhappy with me about that!
I made lots of noise cleaning stuff. They were unhappy with me about that!
I tried to give them their medicine. They were… well, you get the picture.

Some treats, some playing and a replacement of a broken toy later, they’re sleeping next to me, so I hope I’m forgiven, or at least tolerated again ;)

and they suggested I bring Toshi in to have him checked. Temperature was fine, nothing seemed unusual. However since the diarrhea hasn’t gotten better by now, he got three shots (brave boy !) and we’re all hoping this episode is over by Saturday.

Toshi’s been having diarrhea for at least the past two days. I currently wonder how long I should hope for it to resolve itself until I better go see the Vet with him. At least he seems normal otherwise, that’s good.

This past week I’ve seen little Yuuki try to jump on the kitchen counter several times. Well, he’s still too small and so ended up hanging by the handles a couple of times.

So today ? He pushed a box there, jumped on it and from there on the counter. That was almost scary… ;)

When I got home from grocery shopping today, the first thing I got out was the hamburger meat I had bought, so I could put half of it in the freezer. Well, Mr Toshi complained loud and hard that that was his hamburger meat and why am I not giving it to him and why am I putting him off the counter all the time…

Well, once this was accomplished I turned around and saw that Mr Yuuki silently had fished out the Salami out of the bag, had opened its package and was starting to bite it…

Oh, and yesterday morning, while I was in the shower I heard a very strange sound, which I couldn’t place at all. Well, when I came out I found out they had grabbed a can of Red Bull, punctured it and thankfully let it run on the floor mostly and only splattered a little of the wall…

Ah well, a small cat has to eat and drink I suppose… ;)

The cables of my external hard drives have seemed like a great toy for the boys – fortunately I was usually able to distract them quickly. But yesterday they tried their best to drive me crazy and I had to lock them out of the room.

So today I went to the Ikea and bought another wicker box, where I can dump all the cables into. Seems to have worked so far today !

Some news have come up about why I have lost Tai in September. I dealt with them mostly yesterday, but today at work, while I had some time to think when making coffee, rather unexpectedly I was hit by a strong feeling of sadness and loss <sigh>.

today what really freaks my cats – the blender <g>. When I had already made my milk shake and cleaned everything and still no sign of them I went looking and sure enough: Yuuki was hiding under the bed and Toshi on top of the highest shelf…
