finish reading the Harry Potter series

books 5, 6, and 7 to read, and then I’m done!

This is a small goal I have for myself. I became a fan of the Harry Potter films 2 years ago. It was just November 2008 I said I am going to read the series before the 6th film comes out. I no longer wanted to learn the adventures of the Harry Potter characters through a movie. I am now on the 7th book and almost finished…YAY! Although now it is going to be hard for me to enjoy the movies but it has been so worth it.

I finished the last book the day it came out. I’ve gone through and read all of them again and I’m listening to the audio books again too. After that, I’ll truly be finished with this series…at least for a while.

I can hardly believe that it’s all coming to an end. I’m sure JK Rowling has a bittersweet feeling about the whole thing too. As the books end at least there’s still the movies to look foward to.

I borrowed the CDs from the library so I can listen to them on the road. I figure the last book maybe out by next summer.

and I read the UK versions

on the final book. I figure it could be published by late 2007 early 2008. I’ll have to do some sluething to determine more specifics.

so sad, i almost cried… tear

now i am in the middle of book six.
i think i am going to take this book a little slow. everything was starting to remind me of harry, and i dont want to be that person.
