Atomboy worships the drone...
Finally after dicking around for a year or so, I got up the nerve to go to a class and it was great! Now I just need to keep going…
Atomboy worships the drone...
so I’m gonna go to a class on 9th January:
“Thanks for your e-mail.
The classes… are on a Wednesday evening from 6.30pm-8pm. The last class before Xmas is this Wednesday, December 19. We restart on Wednesday, January 9 2008.
Classes are £6 per person per class.
You are welcome to come along. Don’t worry if your experience of yoga is limited, I talk you through everything & there is plenty of opportunity to ask questions as well as get support/individual attention!
Just wear long, loose fitting trousers & a t-shirt. You may also want a sweatshirt/blanket, just to keep warm at the end of the class when we relax for about 10 minutes. The changing facilities available… are the toilets.
I have yoga mats….
By all means come along to a class & try it out….
I look forward to meeting you!

I found somewhere near where I work that does Sivananda classes. I emailed the teacher asking for further details. If they reply, I’ll sign up and start in the New Year.
Really.
There was only one other lady and the instructor, so it was pretty cool.
All my mates were out drinking, but I SO didn’t feel up to doing that tonight. (That said, I did meet up with them after yoga – but only had one pint then was on water afterwards…)
I really enjoyed it though. They’ve got other yoga classes that are less meditative/holding poses and more movement-oriented, but I enjoyed this one and felt very relaxed afterwards.
I’ll try the other classes as well though, as a friend has recommended one of the instructors to me – so I reckon it’s only right to check it out.
Admittedly I’ll be doing a lot more than just Yoga there… but they have a few yoga classes which I’m keen on joining.
I’m pretty happy with my overall level of fitness and strength. But one area I’m really lacking is flexibility. I’m hoping yoga will help me there.
The sauna is pretty fantastic in winter time too. I’d like to try a steam room, but I’m enjoying the sauna.
I am a different person since I have started yoga (2 x a week).
I can sleep at night, focus on my studies without being distracted and am so motivated and inspired for life!
kills my legs! have been doing yoga for just over a month and am feeling better already….:)
