im about 7.5 pounds away from my goal at this point.
i had some off days as far as diet is concerned, but I am watching calories and am very aware of what i eat, even when i choose to make bad food decisions.

this weight is coming off more slowly than i believe it could be coming off, but it IS coming off, and im happy about that.

At the end of this it will be time for a small shopping spree as Ill be back into my “comfort size” which is a size 10.

If I want to get back down to my “diva” weight, after I accomplish this goal, I’ll have to lose 15 more pounds.

157.5 tonite, but had serious munchies today 2 days ago

and ate lots of salty, crunchies, and breads like pretzels, pecan cakes (3 @ 100 cals each), and had a slice of pizza. At the moment, im eating a banana marshmallow cookie pie as
i type. i wasnt too physically active today either. im blaming it on pms.

I did manage to get some actual food in there today in the form of a can of tuna. i dont think i want to get on the scale tomorrow

im trying to lose another 10 pounds for an event 3 Fridays from now. im about 161 (i keep fluctuating between 159 and 160.5 throughout the day), and 151 pounds is my goal for this particular event.

If i stick to diet and hit 157 pounds by next weeks weigh in, I think I’ll be on track.

I had a late dinner and scale is now showing 160.5 pounds. (I weighed myself 30 minutes ago and it read 159.5, but lets say 161 pounds to be safe.)

Im hoping that focusing my energy on this new goal will not only cure my craving lately for Papa Johns pizza, bagels, and bread. (Ive just come off a 4 week diet, in which the last week, I went buckwild, and started eating pizza and chinese for dinner on some nights), but i hope this new goal also helps me to get my ass and gear and workout the way im supposed to. (Ive been on vacation and, being out off my environment, my workout walks just havent been happening)

So enough excuses, on to the next 10 pounds…
My first active workout day is tomorrow, Thursday.

As of October 27, 2008, I’ve lost 12 pounds. Ultimately, I would like to lose another 10. I’ve already dropped at 2 pant sizes. I completely modified my diet, which is how I lost the weight. I have not been exercising since I started dieting; I’m excited to start adding exercise into the mix and see even more weight come off.

My short term goal is 183. I still have 8 1/2 pounds to go! I have been kind of stagnant in my gall bladder surgery in July.



Lost another 10 11 months ago

I’ve done my second 10 pound weight loss since April. I’m going to do another 10 pound goal(no worries – I had a lot to spare when I started and can very safely do another 20!).

I’m not dieting at all, except to stop doing the obviously weight-gaining things like eating whole bags of cookies. That was mostly a matter of habit and I find that if I can keep my husband from bringing stuff like that in the house, I have no problem avoiding it.
Very occasionally I buy myself a nice, good chocolate bar, but my sweets cravings have really decreased and I mostly have no trouble getting past the chocolate aisle in the store.

I seriously never thought this was possible. Maybe it was a little tougher at first. It was a really solid habit for a lot of years.

Other than that, I’m just exercising. I run every other day for 40 minutes, then stretch and do some weights and stomach crunches at the end.

My Weight Loss Goals 12 months ago

I am on the Jenny Craig weight loss plan. It is working very well for me. Today, I weighed in at my halfway point toward my ultimate goal. I have another 33 pounds to lose to reach my goal. As an intermediate goal, I want to lose another 10 pounds. After I reach that, I will set another intermediate goal.

I have reached another 10 pound weight loss goal. I have never tried to lose weight in smaller increments like this. While it is still hard to lose 10 pounds, or even 5, these goals are much less daunting than my original “lose 60 pounds”. Even if I don’t lose the full 60, I have lost 40 this way. Two more 10-pound goals to go.
