After the first few days of agony, flossing just becomes a habit like brushing your teeth does. Set a routine and a time to floss, and it should be smooth sailing from there. Try keeping the box of floss out and visible beside your toothbrush as a visual reminder.
It’s such a small time commitment (couple minutes) and large reward (healthier gums and teeth, less-cranky dentists) and a great habit to develop. Good luck.

I know it’s good for me, but the challenge will be in the morning when I’ll wake up with swollen bleeding gums. But hey, that only speaks about how bad they must be now. Come on, it can’t be that hard. I’m going to do it everyday for a month, see what happens. April 4, 2007 = hopefully the day I consider this goal completed, but still continue to floss for the rest of my life!

I don’t know why something so simple, that takes such a short time, is so difficult to accomplish! But starting today, I will try to remember to floss my teeth once a day, every day, and I’ll post an update in a week or so as to how I did on this goal.

Hey! I flossed my teeth every day for 1 week! I wonder when I’ll finally click the “I’ve done this” button? I think when I’ve done it everyday for three months…
:D
