So, my goal weight based on my height (using the BMI chart) is 129 – 174lbs. The 174lbs is for someone with a lot of muscle mass and large bones whereas the 129lbs is for someone whose body is at the other end of the scale.
I’m definitely a small-boned, minimally-muscled woman so my goal weight should absolutely fall closer to the lower end of that range. However, even 174lbs is more than 20lbs from where I am now and feels ridiculously unachievable.
It’s hard to not feel utterly discouraged. 2 weeks ago
I forgot to weigh myself yesterday so I did today, instead.

Not sure how this happened. I haven’t been eating perfectly, that’s true, but still much better than usual. Haven’t been able to exercise due to infection/ antibiotics but still… 5 lbs in one week?! Hmmm.
Well, I’m not going to let this upset me. I will just let it spur me onward to do better next week. I hope this is just some freaky PMS stuff that will have disappeared by the time I weigh in next Sunday. 3 weeks ago

Hurt my back this week so didn’t work out as hard as I usually do. However, my eating was pretty good. I’m sure I’m growing healthier by the day, even if I’m a pound heavier this week than last. 10 months ago
Went to the gym most days this week. Ate relatively healthy stuff; as far as sweets goes, I think one cookie in total. Restarted my “5K walk-run” program: completed Week 1.
