There’s nothing like the prospect of bad results when you open the post on results day to get you fired up into a determined frame of mind! A2 results day falling on my birthday, 18th no less, made me realise just how good a birthday present good results would be, and how gutted I would be if I didn’t get them. Everyone can get the straight ‘A’ grades they want if they pursue them hard enough, with exams, all the way through to A levels to a large extent, being based on memory.
Don’t let your work pile up, and start revising for exams in plenty of time (a few weeks, say), and the basic recipe for success is there before you, even if a little luck maybe needed to get absolutely stunning results.
Go for it, engage yourself, and don’t hold back!
