get a green day tattoo

Since i was 11, Green Day have been my favourite band and they were 100% the single band who got me into rock music and saved me from chart crap that i had worshipped until then. I completely believe that they play a huge part in making me who i am today, and i truly think that i would be a very different person had it not been for them. Whether that’s a good or bad thing is a matter of oppinion!
I usually don’t believe in band tattoos, but there are a select few that play a part in my life that means more to me than just a little band with some catchy tunes that i like.
I feel like even if i ever go off this bad (highly unlikely) the tattoo still represents a period of my early teens that were the best years of my life so far and meant the world to me, and pretty much revolved around Green Day.

I have to admit to this tat being a cover up! The stars are strategically placed to cover a a tacky oriental symbol and the name of a girl with a rose (that was the world’s suckyest tat ever). The Kerplunk design rocks for a number of reasons – a) Green Day rock b) it’s nice and simple and c) I will be working with children and their mothers in swimming pools soon and it is non-offensive! – I was going to have “the world owes me so fuck you” accross the top but was advised not to to by a clinical educator! I would totally advise people to go for it – you are young once and once only (depending on your beliefs!)

OHH God for everyone deciding weither to get it done or not, DO IT!!! I cant explain the words I felt when i got it! It was like their was something missing about being a fan ang when i got the tatt is like in a sence completed me being a fan! My next tatt is going to be a nother one or a RHCP one! im adddicted now hehehe

I love it! It was so easy to get. My friend is a tattoo artist and he gives me tatts for free!

I want something that represents Green Day definetley. They are the best punk rock group in the world! But in the end, I might just get a Jesus Christ Superstar logo. The same one Billie Joe has.
