...whether it was worth it or not. It’s a family wiki I have at my own domain, and if it is used and contributed to by the rest of the family, it will be worthwhile. So far my tribe have been a rather technophobic, luddite lot, so it’s still neither here nor there whether worth it or not. I daresay the thing with this is to identify why you want a wiki, find other people who think this wiki might be a good idea, get them involved (doesn’t have to be that many people to start with), and see how it grows or stagnates accordingly. I suspect my wiki is a bit too specialised and too under-publicised to become anything much.

I changed my website http://g-b.dk into a wiki site back in 2003, and that was the last HTML I ever did (well, almost). Since then, it’s just so much easier to keep my website up to date, and I also started to use it as my personal online brain-backup, accessible everywhere and less forgetful than the one between my ears :-)
