How to study for exams
How I did it:
I didn't.
And that's how I did.
You see, I first chose this goal nearly one whole year ago. It was a week before semester one uni exams. I was repeating a hard unit, in a course I had lost interest in.
So I simply didn't study for it. That was the best decision I made that semester.
Sure - I failed. But it led me to leave that path behind and take 6 months off to find out what else I could do with my life.
Now, it's one year later. I'm actually studying for my first semester of commerce exams and it doesn't feel like I am pulling my teeth out just to get started! I have a genuine interest in my units, and I've been putting in effort all semester.
Lessons & tips:
Sometimes failing can be good. It allowed me to take a step back and re asses my real interests.
It was hard. No one likes failing. But you learn from your mistakes, right?
I realised that not attending lectures and trying to cram 12 weeks worth of chemistry into 5 nights was not a recipe for sucess.
This time round, (in a degree I enjoy) I've made an effort to attend every class and revise as I go. So far it's worked wonders - I've got all my revision planned and my stress levels under control!

man, for me, it’s 30% of my mark… although in some countries, it’s 50% of their mark, or higher even. shivers It’s just… everytime, I keep trying to evade the thought of studying… and my exams are starting soon [first one 3 days from now!]... and yet, still haven’t studied anything yet.
Exams suck. But you should always do your best on them, whether you like it or not. Please yourself, your parents, and your teachers. Do better in school and get a higher chance of getting into College/Uni. =D
they suck,
i get suicidal every time they come around. its so hard to keep your uni average up. and this year i think it will go down, so im bummed. bt if i study then it wont matter, cz i tried my hardest…....barf too corny
