scuba dive more

This past week I took a refresher course in Utila, Honduras, and then did six dives over the course of the next 3 days. These are the first dives that I’ve done since I got my PADI Open Water certification 4 years ago, and it felt so much more natural now than it did then. I’m glad I did the refresher course, and happy that we got to see some really cool things like two eagle rays.

I love diving, I qualified in 2007 and I just bought myself a BCD to bring down costs of equipment hire a little. I have a dive buddy who offers me a couple of other bits when we trip together.
However I don’t go enough. At the moment it’s due to lack of money. I now get decent holidays so it’s just a case of making use of them! :)

I used to dive alot when I was younger, since I started college I’ve gone on exactly 2 dives.. in 4 years! So I’m missing it and now that college will be done (one month =-) I want to get back into it again! Anyone know good places to go near Seattle?

It’s a bit cold here in the UK unless you’ve got a dry suit, so I really only go diving on holiday. Maybe I should have more holidays to achieve this goal! Ha

I got my certification when I was about thirteen. The only problem is, I live in the American midwest, so unless I’m going to explore the trenches of the nearest puddle, I’m SOL. I’d really love to go to the Caymans or to the Great Barrier Reef. That would be awesome.

I’m going to go on a dive trip with one of my friends to the Channel Islands! We don’t have a specific plan yet but we both really want it to happen so I think that it actually will. Yay!

I meant snorkel more often, not scuba. because with scuba it isnt so quiet.

aw man. and it looks like I can’t take it off my list.

I went diving when I was in Hawaii a few weeks ago. Before that it had been about 6 months since I’d been diving. I want to go this summer but I to start making more money before I spend it on diving. My reward for myself when I get a job will be to buy another piece of SCUBA gear :o)
