I’m hoping to work on this goal more once we move into our new apartment. The theory being that, since the apartment is smaller, it will take less time and effort to keep it clean and I can spend more time doing other things: spending more time baking and cooking (I already make a lot of home-made meals) but would like to expand my repetoire to include more baked goods, homemade yogurt, canning, etc.; making clothes, decorative items, and toys; working on all the little projects I have around the house; and make forays into such crafts as knitting, soapmaking, and making jewelry.
I also want to make sure I spend more quality time with my kids and I’d like to begin homeschooling my 2 1/2 year old daughter once my 2 month old son is on a more normal napping schedule—probaby when he’s about 6 months old and she’s 3. Not neccessarily on a formal basis, of course, but I would like her to get used to a loose schedule which would incorporate some time set aside to work on learning skills.
Wish me luck!
