learn how to twirl drumsticks

i have ben playing for about 2-3 years, andi just cant twirl drumsticks. it would be great if you could teach me.

I BEEN PLAYING DRUMS FOR ABOUT TWO YEARS NOW,AND I’M LEFT HANDED.AND FINDS IT’S HARD TO TWIRL STICKS AND LOOK GOOD DOING IT.

It looks fun. I can twirl a pen, does that count? (it flings out of my hand most of the time…shhh)

Well today for practice I twirled my pen for practice. And you know what I really wasn’t that bad haha its kind of funny. Well I guess I’m just one step closer to twirling an accualy drumstick.

Been learning for about a week. Kinda hard to get down. I want to be able to twirl on both hands.

does anyone have a link to a video that shows and explains it to you or anything?

When you’re on the drumline in high school, you learn this skill or they kick you off.

Well, not really. But they DO make fun of you, and who needs that?

meh its easy, and i don’t even play drums… its just like spinning a pen
