..and I will.
I am on solidly on the management team. I was in limbo up until this afternoon, a manager that did not a seat at the table and a vote. Now, I am full-fledged.
I also got a reprieve on a deadline. I would have had to of pulled an all nighter and work during my vacation if I didn’t.

I brought a project in UNDER budget, even though the data collection was over budget.

I show too much reluctance and hesitation when I have to cold call someone for my work. Often it is someone in the same field, and they are helpful most of the time, but I usually put it off until it gets embarrassing.
They don’t bite, and even if they are short tempered and mean, they can’t hurt me for asking questions. I am going to do it eventually, so why wait?

I finally knocked out the report. All I had to was write an entry about how big of jerk I was being and boom…I started proofreading before I got out of bed this morning.
Now, I have completed another revision and will send it to the client as soon as someone else proofs it. I am really bad at proofing my own writing.
Update: Sent to Client

I have to proofread my own report again and I just can’t seem to bring myself to it. I found a reason to avoid it all day. I have to do it tomorrow without fail.

The 43 things site has been really slow lately. I am going to stop giving cheers while at work because it is taking me longer than I like and interfering with my productivity.

I have the best opportunity of my career in front of me for the next few months. I slightly bungled my last big chance. I don’t want to fail this time, especially for a lack of effort.

The Macromedia daily grind is improving. I have a good work load now and I am finishing projects. However I am working on a number of projects that are very open ended and that makes me edgy. I have this constant feeling that I am slacking off when in fact I am doing what I am supposed to. I just have to take on more tasks without having to be asked first. I will be back in the drivers seat in no time.

Work has been a real challenge for me lately. This is not becuase the work load is heavy or because I don’t have enough time, but because I am lazy. I have spent months doing little more than surfing the web and maintaining the minimum workload required to stay employed. This has to stop now. It is understandable that I have been depressed and less than motivated, but it is time for me to get on the $%#*ing ball and start earing my pay.
Less Warcraft, more Flash Player.
