Have enough money to be comfortable

And I’ve been living out of my checking account. I’d love to use my after-school job to put some money back into my savings account.

I want to be able to afford the things that make life fun. I’m tired, stressed, demotivated, and can’t see any immediate way out. My husband needs to be able to get a better job, but he has to get some qualifications first. I can’t do anything about that, only support him through the late nights and studying. And just tough it out until we can do better, I guess.

But it wears me down, it wears us both down. No movies, no fast food, just enough to get by for the month owing one or two people instead of everybody. And my mortgage hasn’t been paid yet, so here comes more stress.

Here’s a list of things I want to be able to afford: hairdresser, pedicure, housekeeper, childcare, nice dinner out occasionally, movies at the theatre, plays, concerts, clothes, shoes, CDs – just everything.

I work all summer and study all year. I would love to win the lottery, not for the jackpot (although I wouldnt refuse) just enough to cover my student loan, and to pay my rent. I don’t like debt but my loan is giving me a lot of it.
I would love to just be able to afford small things and not have to worry about money so much.
