So this goal is a bit of a bust for me. In the intervening years the iPhone has been released, gone international and I’ve been able to get one for work.
While this may appear to be a success, I’m not so sure. The problem is I didn’t get to save for it and spend my own money to acquire.
However I am about to reach a savings goal to buy an Airport Extreme, so I’ll count that as a win and close this goal out then.

I really love it. As well as letting me play songs, videos and games, it lets me back up my most important docs as well.
Ipod owns other electronic handhelds especially the nano which I just got. The sound is awesome and the music videos are so cute, it also comes with a lot of extras!!! Worth buying don’t save on mp3! Spend everything on an ipod!!!
Basquino is job-hunting whilst watching Wimbledon
Love it; awesome for biking, hiking, the gym, the car. Rarely leave home without it.
.... and had enough to buy myself an ipod shuffle, however, I used up all my points the other day in getting my negatives transferred onto CD instead. It saved me masses of time scanning photos onto my computer which is another one of my tasks :-)
Above is a photo that was put onto CD. Was it worth it? lol
Oh well, I’d better get saving those points :-)
I really liked my Nano. Unfortunately, when my girlfriend borrowed it for a trip, someone stole her bag, and she recovered it minus iPod, pen, and wallet. Now I’m thinking about getting an iPhone, but maybe I’ll just get another. It was awesome for the walk to work; I got a good half hour of music-listening in each way, and since then I’ve been really feeling behind. I miss listening to Joseph Beuys’ Sonne Statt Reagan track on my way out the door. Oh well.
On the plus side – I did get some of ‘that music’:http://www.43things.com/entries/view/1546053 and you just have to hear them yourself!
Finding a track you like with the right BPM can really help when you’re working out :-)
On the minus side – I was expecting a refresh on the Nano range at MacWorld (which clearly didn’t happen.)
Now I need to re-check all the gift cards I have left after the Christmas chaos and see how much is left on them for my iPod.
I should trust in the universe to bring an iPod Nano into my life in just the right way at just the right time.
Must remember to get music from dj steveboy for the-listening-to while doing-the-walking and reshaping-the-body.
