    The MLA job list becomes available today. I wish it would open soon. I hope there are good jobs listed. I can’t stand waiting any longer. It was supposed to be available by 2pm EST. It wasn’t. Sigh.

    Tenure-track jobs for professors of philosophy are unfortunately very competitive. Though I have about as good a chance as I could hope for coming from UC Riverside, it’s still not even close to a sure bet that I’ll get one right off the bat. But eventually…that’s the goal.
