The Bettie Page haircut is something my hair couldn’t hold but CLOTHING…..that’s something I could do! Bettie is one amazing woman!

but my regular hairdresser quit the salon: so today could be a disaster.

Ha, the only context I could get away with saying that! My hair of course!
The fringe would just be too flat for my hair! Boo! :-(

I dressed like Bettie Page for Halloween last year and I’m doing it again this year only better hopefully. People who know Bettie knew who I was immediately. It was a lot of fun, the wig is the trickiest part.

I had my hair cut about a month ago and just love it! I think it suits me. I already had black hair. Changing my hairstye also meant changing my clothing style; I’ve got a curvy body (a little overweight), and now I try to dress to accentuate the curves, not hide them.

I had my bangs cut in the Bettie Page Style. I am not going to change my red color to black because it does not suite me.

I’d like to look like Bettie on a casual day.
That’s the look I’m going for.
I have never really “settled down” into a way of dressing but I think this is it.

I love Bettie, I do. I have tried to get my bangs cut like hers, but my fucking salon can`t seem to get it right, even when I bring in pictures… I need to switch salons.

She was awesome…
