having get accquaintant(?) with a teacher who teaches singing yesterday, he’s who gets hold of a chour(?)in our school. I told him I want to study some opera, no matter I’ll succeed on it or not. He wasnt very pleasant at the very first time, he said studying arts heavily rests wit ur telent…... XD so i said i know veryvery few people can actually be top singers or players, but, but its my life anyway, i have always been a loser in studying arts for long! Still I should keep my pursuit towards my aim & my ideal life…..& he didnt object on it at last. A tiny success i think. i want to sing him a piece of mozart the following sunday…..so please wish me good luck!

Last Thursday, I found a classical voice teacher (on a whim), I start with her this Thursday, and then Saturday I went to Barnes and Noble and picked up a copy of “Twenty-Four Italian Songs and Arias from the 17th and 18th Century” The book is a fantastic start to a repertoire I must say. I spent a good deal of time yesterday listening to the songs in the book (most of which can be found on iTunes performed by various vocalists, or also by common folk like you and me performed on youtube (not always particularly good performances, but there are also some very impressive ones)). I have chosen a few favorite songs which I hope to start on with my voice teacher, Hiroko, right away.
